Following publication of the 2019/20 Unidentified Gas (UIG) Weighting Factors, Shippers’ communications and actions indicate they intend to migrate significant numbers of Supply Meter Points to Class 3. This Modification seeks to ensure that the CDSP has capability to manage the significant increase

To create a Shipper incentive mechanism, which encourages the submission of valid meter readings into settlement through achievement of UNC targets and obligations. A charge will be levied in each retrospective month, to Shippers where performance has not met a set of pre-determined UNC targets.

To make a number of improvements to the arrangements for National Grid NTS provision of Margins Notices (UNC TPD V5.9.3) and introduce a new ‘early warning’ notice as per the recommendations of Request 0669R.

This modification seeks to rationalise UNC TPD Section V5 and remove inconsistency with the Data Permissions Matrix.

To the extent to which a Consumer has entered into a bi-lateral Network Exit Agreement (NExA) with the relevant Transporter then any new or additional capacity charging should only apply from the relevant date set out in the NExA.
